Arrow Energy Visit

Arrow Energy kindly organised a visit  for our Engineering students to the Windermere Works business centre, where Arrow had just helped with a major refurbishment project.

Housed in premises that were once the home of Atkinson’s Cakes, Windermere Works now provides office space and hot desk facilities for start-ups and other local businesses, with a heating ventilation & air conditioning (HVAC) system designed by Arrow.

“Really enjoyed talking and discussing our recent HVAC design with the year 10 QEStudio students,” tweeted Arrow. “Look forward to meeting up again some time.”

Engineering workshop organised by Arrow

On their visit to Windermere Works, our Engineering students were able to look the designs created by Arrow Energy for the refurbishment of the business centre. For our students, being able to discuss this kind of project with industry professionals is another great example of ’employer engagement’ in action, helping to link their classroom learning with ‘real world’ examples. Many thanks to Arrow for all their invaluable input!
